1080p Network Multimedia Player

Finally a universal media player box that is capable of doing 1080p. The QNAP NMP-1000P is a network player that will play 1080p video straight from the source.

If you recall the original QNAP network player was not capable of full 1080p. Here is a minor tweek to that system, with a larger processor allowing the Media Player to output the higher resolution at 24p. Price and exact release date is yet to be determined. The price is really a deal breaker on gadgets like this, so lets hope its not too extreme.
